Welcome to the Placerville Kiwanis Website!
Since our club was chartered in April 1956, the Placerville Kiwanis Club has been an active part of the local community. We are a growing club with over 50 members, we support three high school Key Clubs (Ponderosa, Union Mine and El Dorado High Schools), the Markham Middle School Builders Club and the AKTION Club of El Dorado County for people living with a disability.
Our members volunteer over 3000 hours each year to Projects such as the Placerville Fishing Derby, John M. Studebaker Wheelbarrow Race, Holiday Food Baskets, Big Brothers / Big Sisters, Toys for Tots and more.
We raise money in the community through our annual Pasta Feed, Art & Wine Festival, Wheelbarrow Race and Home and Garden Show wine sales. Proceeds from these fund raiser go to support a variety of important community services including the Academic Decathlon, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, CASA, El Dorado Early Childhood Counseling Center, The Kiwanis Family House and many other important programs in our community.
The Placer Kiwanis Club meets every Wednesday at noon at the
Cold Springs Golf and Country Club, 6500 Clubhouse Drive, Placerville, Ca 95667. Meetings adjourn at 1:30pm.
Guests are always welcome.
